1 c shortening
1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
1 t soda dissolved in 1 T water
1 c raisins
1 c nuts
3 eggs
4 c flour (scant)
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt

Form in rolls and chill. slice thinly. Bake at 410º - 9 to 10 minutes.
