3 T cream corn starch
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c lemon juice
1 T grated lemon rind
3 yolks eggs
1 1/2 c boiling water
1 (9inch) baked pie shell
6 T sugar
3 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cream corn starch, sugar, lemon juice and lemon rind. Beat eggs yolks add to cream corn starch mixture. Gradually add boiling water. Heat to boiling over direct heat and then boil gently for 4 minutes; stir constantly. Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff and dry. Gradually beat in 6 T sugar. Spread meringue over top of pie. Carefully sealing in all edges of crust.
Bake until meringue is golden brown.
