1/2 c. lard
1 egg
1 c sorghum
2 1/2 c flour
1 t. baking powder
1 1/2 t. soda
1 1/2 t ginger
1/2 t salt
1/2 boiling water
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, add egg, mix with dry ingredients and add boiling water.

Bake at 350º
