2-oz unsweetened chocolate
½ c(1/4 pound) butter
1 cup sugar
½ t baking powder
1 t vanilla
½ cup flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup semi-sweet(or bittersweet)chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt together the chocolate and the butter, cool slightly. Blend chocolate mixture with sugar, baking powder, vanilla and flour with wooden spoon until well blended. Add the eggs and mix until well blended. Add the chocolate chips. Pour batter into greased 8” square baking pan(I prefer glass) and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes(I prefer 33 minutes) until toothpick comes out with a few crumbs attached. Cool to room temperature. These are magnificent the day they are baked; but excellent for several days after.
