2T fresh lemon juice—over
4 c. chopped, peeled apples


3 c flour

2 c sugar

2t cinnamon

2t baking soda

1t salt

Stir into dry ingredients:

2 beaten eggs

1 c oil

Fold in apples(dough is very heavy)

May add ˝ c nuts or ˝ c raisins

Bake in greased and floured(I just use PAM spray), tube pan or bundt pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.



˝ c butter(Unsalted, 1 stick)

˝-3/4 c brown sugar

Cook over low heat until dissolved. Pour over cooled cake.
