2 c. flour
1 ½ c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground cloves
4 beaten eggs
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. oil

Cream Cheese Frosting:
½ (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
½ c. butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla
6 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
For bars:
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, soda, and cloves. Stir in eggs, pumpkin and oil. Spread in a 10x15 pan ungreased pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 2 hours.

For frosting:
While bars are cooking, prepare frosting. Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla. GRADUALLY add in powdered sugar (about 1 c. at a time). Beat until very smooth. By the time the bars are ready for the frosting, you may have to heat the frosting in the microwave. Then it pours on REALLY easily! Wait until frosting hardens a bit to serve.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I usually make a double batch of the frosting and freeze 1/2 until the next time I make pumpkin bars. Then I just run hot water over the baggie of frosting until it is soft enough to pour over the bars. I've never come across anyone who doesn't like these!
