1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 cup Miracle Whip
1-2 T. regular mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and refrigerate several hours. You may need to adjust Miracle Whip a little depending on amount of cabbage. Do not use mayonnaise.

This is the basic recipe that the Cohoes family always used in making cole slaw. Sometimes they added green pepper and even a little tomato. My family only liked it the original way.
