2 lbs of bacon
2-3 cans of water chestnuts
2 cups of ketchup
1 1/2 cups of sugar

Round(not flat) toothpicks
Glass baking dish only

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 325º
Cut bacon in half and start wrapping the water chestnuts and placing in dish, securing with toothpicks.
Put in oven for approx. 30 min. or until mostly brown.
Take out and drain grease. Pat with paper towel to get as much grease out as possible, it makes the sauce taste better.
Mix the ketchup and sugar and put a thin layer on bottom.
Put bacon wraps back in dish and pour the remaining sauce over them and try to avoid the toothpicks as much as possible.
After all of the bacon has been covered with the sauce put the wraps back in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Make sure it is boiling so the sugar gets carmalized.

(The usual ketchup/sugar mix is one cup ketchup to 1/2 cup sugar however for an even sweeter taste you can increase to one cup ketchup to 3/4 cup sugar.)
