1 c. warm water
2 T. sugar
1 t. salt
2 T. melted Crisco or oil
1 package of yeast
2 1/4 c. flour
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Dissolve the yeast in the water. Stir in sugar, salt and flour. Stir until smooth. Add egg and shortening. Beat until smooth. Let stand until the dough doubles in size. Stir down and make rolls. Bake 15-20 minutes.
