2/3 cup butter or margarine
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1/2/ tsp. vanilla extract
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Marachino Cherries (Jar)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Stir in eggs;add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt; stir into creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet, and put half of a cherry on top of each cookie.
(Lightly press in)
Bake 8-10 minutes at 425º
