1/2 cup chopped onion 2 cloves minced garlic 2 T. olive oil 2 cans (1 lb, 4 oz. each) crushed tomatoes 1, 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1, 6 oz. can tomato paste 1 c. water 1 tsp. basil 2 T. parsley 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
1. Saute onion and garlic in oil. 2. Add rest of ingredients. 3. Simmer over low heat 1-2 hrs.
