1/2 lb ground beef (sirloin, chuck or round)
1/4 C onions, chopped
1/4 C bell pepper, chopped
1/4 C celery, chopped
Add: meat and brown

1 small can Black Beans, drained
1/8 C chopped fresh parsley (1 TB if dried parsley)
3/4 C diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp paprika
2 dashes of hot sauce
1/2 tsp. beef bouillon granules (can use canned beef broth or cubes)
1/2 C water
salt & pepper to taste
red pepper (flakes if desired)

Adjust spices to your liking. (Add sugar if too salty)

Simmer until flavor develops but is not too dry or thick.

Serve over cooked rice.

Garnishes: (optional)

Sour cream, chopped green onions, shredded cheese, chips, fresh tomatoes, etc.
