2 c. sugar
1c. white Karo corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Butter and salt table top. Boil together 2 cups sugar, 1 c. Karo and 1/2 c. water to the hard ball stage, turn down the burner one notch, add peanuts, stir often, almost constantly until mixture turns amber color. (about 6 to 8 minutes). Add butter, turn off heat, add vanilla, and last soda, beat hard and fast, until well mixed. Pour quickly onto prepaired top. Turn knife around edge and start pulling. break off.
