1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
2 c. quick-cooking oats
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in oats, cereal and coconut. Drop by rounded spoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks.
