1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
2 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and mix well the first seven ingredients. Combine flour and soda. Add to the shortening mixture. Mix in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Hide the cookies from the kids.
