3 cups mashed cooked butternut squash
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1-1/2 tablespoon butter
6 cups sliced apple
1/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 cup crushed cornflakes
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions:

Season cooked and mashed squash with 1/4 cup butter, 1 tbsp. brown sugar, salt and pepper.
In saucepan heat 1-1/2 tbsp. butter, add apples, sprinkle with 1/4 c sugar. Cover and simmer until tender. About 5 minutes. Spoon apples in large dish, 3 qt., then spread squash. Mix flakes, nuts, and1/2c brown sugar and 2 tbls butter. Sprinke over top and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
