3 c. sugar
6 tsp. flour
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
5 eggs
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar and flour together. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk and mix together. Add beaten eggs and then add the remaining buttermilk. Fold in melted butter and add vanilla.

Pour into unbaked deep dish pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven heat to 350 degrees. Bake until knife comes out clean, usually 25-30 minutes.
