1 C mashed potatoes
1/2 C shortening
1/2 C sugar
1 C milk
5 C flour
1 T yeast
2 eggs
Butter to cover dough
1 large orange
Sugar to cover dough

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and boil 1 large potato. Mash when soft and boil down to 1 C. While still warm add shortening and sugar. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let raise then add to the above mixture. Add 2 C flour. mix well. Add 2 beaten eggs and 3 more cups of flour or more to make a sticky dough. Let raise 2 hours. Roll out like cinnamon rolls. Spread with melted butter, sugar and zest of orange.
Roll up like you would cinnamon rolls. Cut and place in greased muffin tin or on cookie sheet. Raise until double. Bake 15 minutes @350º. Makes 2 dozen.
