1 pound lean ground pork
1 pound ground veal
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
Pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 vegetable oil
1/2 cup beef stock or water
Butcher meat sticks or skewers

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground pork and veal. Mix in salt and pepper. Mold meats mixture into a shape of a chicken drumstick and insert on stick. Dip in egg diluted with milk. Then roll in bread crumbs until well coated. Brown slowly on all sides in the hot vegetable oil in a heavy skillet. Add the stock or water; reduce heat. Cover and simmer slowly over low heat about 1 hour or until very tender. Make gravy from drippings, if desired to serve with City Chickens.
