Ingredients:  
1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c self-rising flour
1 1/2 c milk
1 1/2 c grated cheddar cheese
1 medium onion chopped fine
1 T sugar
1 1/2 lb can beef stew

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in bottom of 2 qt. casserole dish. Combine remaining ingredient except stew in mixing bowl. Pour over melted butter in dish. Pour Beef Stew over batter - do not stir. Bake at 350 for 60 - 65 minutes.
