2 C sugar
1 C softened butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 C flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 C buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar & butter. Mix together eggs & vanilla. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Blend the sugar & egg mixtures together. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Slowly mix in the buttermilk. Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
