1 c scalded milk
1 cake fresh (or packaged) yeast
1 c warm water
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
1 c brown sugar
1/2 t salt
2 eggs beaten
4 c flour

No directions given. SO I would guess you mix it all together, chill roll out to 1/2 in thick, cut with a cookie cutter & fry them. Dust them with sugar while they are still hot!
