4 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and salt; mix in shortening like for a pie crust. Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, soda and milk. Knead with hands. Put in refrigerator for 10 minutes. Roll dough out 1/3 inch thick. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
