1 onion (chop finely)
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
cup tomato puree
1/2 cup picante sauce
1 teaspoon (to taste) jalapeno peppers (chopped)
1 teaspoon margarine
1 cup water
2 cans beef broth
2 teaspoon chili sauce
Shredded Monterrey Jack Cheese
Corn tortillas, stripped and baked until crispy
Lime wedges

Saute onions, jalapeno pepper in margarine until onions are translucent. Combine beef broth, chili sauce, picante sauce and other ingredients. Stir together and simmer for about 45 minutes.

Ladle in bowl over cheese. Serve with tortilla strips. Squeeze lime wedge for added flavor.
