Peanut Butter, smooth or crunchy
Jelly or Jam of your choice
12 slices thin bread
4 egg yolks
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Make 6 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Beat egg yolks, sugar and salt together and stir in milk. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, coating well. Brown in bacon drippings or oil, turning to brown both sides. Serve with honey, syrup or alone.
