1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
Nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and shortening, add eggs,beat,add bananas and milk.
Sift together the dry ingredients and to batter. Add
nuts. Pour into greased and floured bread pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until inserted toothpick
comes out clean.
