1 cup water 1 cup flour 2 teaspoons cream of tartar 2 teaspoons oil ½ cup salt food coloring
Mix all ingredients together in a large saucepan. Cook and stir (a wooden spoon works well) over medium heat for 5 minutes. Knead as it cools. Store cooled dough in a plastic bag or bowl with a tight lid.
