1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 medium)
2 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla or rum
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup shopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a
time, beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas, milk and
vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; stir into batter; just
until moistened. Fold in nuts.
Pour into a greased 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake at 325º for 65 to 75
minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes
before removing from pan to a wire rack.
