2 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. Each of Cloves, allspice, cinnamon
4 c. flour
2 tsp. Soda

Boil raisins in 4 c. water for 3 mins.
Drain and save 2 c. liquid.
Cream shortening & sugar
Add eggs. Add cloves, allspice & cinnamon.
Add flour & soda.
Add juice to mixture and blend.
Pour into cookie sheet and Bake 350ļ for 20 mins.
Frost with butter cream frosting while warm.
