2/3 C. SOFT SHORTENING
1/2 C. BROWN SUGAR
1 EGG
1/2 C. MOLASSES
1/2 C. SOUR MILK
2 1/2 C. FLOUR
1 t. SODA
1 t. NUTMEG
1 t. CINNAMON
1/2 t. CLOVES
Directions:
Directions:
CREAM SHORTENING, ADD SUGAR, EGG, THEN MILK AND MOLASSES. FOLD IN FLOUR MIXTURE,
MIX WELL. FORM INTO BALLS, PRESS WITH GLASS DIPPED IN SUGAR. BAKE 10 MIN. AT 350.
