12-16 ounces of White Chocolate

This is a very easy recipe, but I've received many compliments on these cookies/truffles.

1. Crush the whole package of Oreoes (I use a ziploc plastic bag the kids crush them by walking on them with their feet).

2. Mix softened cream cheese with the crushed Oreos. Blend well you might have to use your hands.

3. Line wax paper on a cookie sheet and roll each ball in a 2" ball. After rolling all the balls, put in freezer for a half hour. This allows the balls to set up.

4. Melt your white chocolate in the microwave (don't over cook) For Christmas I add a drop of peppermint oil from the cake store (use sparingly the oil is usually very strong). These have a great taste, if not just use the white chocolate alone.

5. Take the Oreo balls out of freezer and dip into the white melted chocolate. I use the tooth picks to eliminate thumb prints on the balls.

6. After dipping them line them up on the wax cookie sheet again and chill in the fridge.

These were a big hit this year at my work's cookie swap. Adding the mint oil gives the chocolate a nice smooth taste.

Enjoy
