1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Whisk together, simmer 20 minutes, stirring often.

I got this recipe off the internet. It really tastes like Heinz ketchup, but cheaper, especially if you can find an inexpensive source of corn syrup.
