Ingredients:  
1 whole chicken - cut in pieces
3 T oil
1 C chopped onion
2 cloves garlic - minced
1 C fresh mushrooms
3 strips bacon - cut in pieces
1 C dry sherry
1/2 tsp oregano
1 bay leaf
1 can whole tomatoes
2 stalks celery - coursely chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions and garlic in oil for about 3 minutes. Add oregano, bay leaf, bacon, salt and pepper and simmer 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, celery and wine and continue to simmer. Roll chicken in flour and brown in another skillet. When brown add chicken to sauce, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
