1/2 head of cabbage 3 T oil 3 strips of bacon - cut in pieces (optional) 1 tsp Beau Monde seasoning salt and pepper to taste
Cut cabbage in strips. Heat oil in frying pan and add bacon, if using. Let bacon cook about 2 minutes. Add cabbage and seasonings. Let cook over medium heat until it's cooked the way you like it. Stir frequently. If you want it a little spicy, add a few red pepper flakes.
