3 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ( 7oz.) maraschino cherries
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together sugar, margarine, and milk. In a heavy pan bring mixture to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat. Candy thermometer should read 234. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chocolate until melted. Add remaining ingredients until well blended. Place mixture into a greased 9 X 9 pan. Cool to room temperature for 3 hours.
