4 c. noodles
1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground chuck
2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (8 oz.) cottage cheese
1 can (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1/3 c. minced scallions
1 tbsp. green pepper, minced
2 tbsp. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Early in the day, cook noodles as package directions and drain. In a skillet, saute meat until browned. Stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat. In a separate bowl, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, scallions, and green pepper. To assemble, spread half the noodles in casserole, cover with cheese mixture then cover with rest of noodles. Pour melted butter over noodles, then spoon over tomato and meat sauce. Refrigerate. One hour before serving, preheat oven to 375º and bake casserole until hot throughout about 45 minutes.
