1/2 c soft butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 t salt
1 c sifted flour
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 c brown sugar
2 t flour
1/2 t salt
1 small bag of coconut
1 c broken walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Layer 1: Cream together butter, 1/2 c brown sugar and salt. Stir in 1 c flour. Pat dough into ungreased 9x13x2 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Layer 2: Beat eggs, add vanilla. Gradually add 1 cup brown sugar, beating just until blended Add 2 T flour and 1/2 t salt. Stir in coconut and walnuts. Spread over baked layer. Bake 20-25 minutes longer or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool.
