1 stick margarine
1 c. water
1 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

ICING:
1 stick margarine
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. buttermilk
1 lb. confectioners sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine margarine, water, Crisco and cocoa in saucepan, stir constantly and bring to boil. Remove from heat and pour into mixing bowl. Mix in sugar and flour. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Pour batter into a greased and floured 11x17 jelly roll pan or sheet cake pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Have icing ready to pour over cake while cake is not. Prepare icing by combining margarine, cocoa and buttermilk over low heat and mix well. Stir in sugar, nuts and vanilla. Spread over hot cake. Cool before slicing into 30 moist delicious squares.
