Crescent Taco Squares

1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
¾ cup water
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls
½ cup shredded cheese (Mexican blend)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Brown ground beef and green pepper. Drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water; simmer. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles. Place 2 rectangles in ungreased 8 or 9 inch square pan. Press over bottom and 1 inch up sides to form crust. Spread meat mixture over dough. Place remaining dough on top of meat. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown. Top with your choice of the following ingredients:

1 ½ cups chopped lettuce
Shredded cheese
Fresh tomatoes
Sour cream
Green onions
Italian or Catalina dressing
