1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1 T. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
Almonds (opt.)

Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and salt well. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside. Sift dry ingredients and add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Mix together and fill muffin cups 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Top each with 1 tablespoon cream cheese mix. Sprinkle with surgar. Add almonds, if desired. Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes.
