1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. flour
1 t. salt
1/2 t. curry powder
Dash pepper
1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms
1 13 oz can evaporated
2 pkg. (10 oz) frozen broccoli spears, cooked and drained
1 chicken, cooked and cut into large cubes
1 cup (4 oz) shredded Jack cheese

Melt butter in skillet. Saute onions til transparent. Removed from heat. Stir in flour, salt, curry powder, pepper. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid. Add water to make 1 /2 cup liquid. Gradually stir into flour mixture in skillet. Blend in evap milk til smooth. Add mushrooms. Cook and stir over med heat til thickened. Arrange chicken and broccoli on bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour sauce over all. Top with cheese. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until bubbly. Cool a few minutes before serving.
