Chicken Tortilla Soup Recipe

Saute together:
2 tbls veg oil
1 small onion chopped
1 - 4 1/2 oz can of chopped green chilies
2 tsp minced garlic

to this add:
1 15 oz can stewed tomatoes
1 13 3/4 oz can beef broth
1 10 3/4 oz can creamy chicken soup
1 14 oz can chicken broth
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar

mix together, then add:
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp Tabasco (or hot sauce to taste)
2 tbs fresh cilantro

Simmer for 1hour - in the last 5 minutes, add 2-3 cups diced cooked chicken. Serve with cubed avocado and Monterey jack cheese on top, and tortilla chips on the side.

serves 4-5 people
