1 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp anis seed extract
1 cup chopped almond

Pre heat oven 350.
Beat sugar, oil and eggs until well blended. Add flour, salt &
anis seed extract. Beat until well mixed. Stir in almonds.
Divide dough in half put each half on cookie sheet with edges.
Shape dough into a loaf.
Bake 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven & let cool. Slice each
loaf crosswise into 1/2" slices. Lay slices flat on cookie sheet
and return to oven & bake for 20 minutes until lightly brown.
