1 1/3 c. club soda
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 egg
1/2 c. Bisquick
1 c. self-rising flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 2/3 cups club soda, lemon juice, egg, Bisquick, and 1/2 cup flour. Let stand 10 minutes. Heat oil in frying pan.

Take chicken or fish and dip into remaining 1/2 cup of club soda. Then dip into remaining flour. Let dry for a few minutes. Dip into batter and fry.
