1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg

Stir together flour, soda, baking powder, and salt. Cream together margarine, shortening, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Mix in egg. Blend in dry ingredients. Cover and chill.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet. With a fork dipped in flour, flatten in a crisscross patter to 2 inches. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 375.
