1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
1 egg
1 c. + 2 tbsp. sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c. M & M's

Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla, water, and egg. Sift remaining dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Mix well. Stir in M & M's. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 - 12 minutes.
