1 full rack of ribs
1/2 a beer
2 TBspoons of rib rub
1/2 medium onion
2 cups water
a few drops liquid smoke

Directions:

Cover ribs with rub the night befor cooking.
Day of cooking:
Peheat oven to 250 degrees.
In glass caserole dish, large enough to fit 2 half racks of ribs legthwise, add the following:
water, beer, liquid smoke.
Cover the ribs with thinly sliced onion.
Cover the whole thing with tin foil.
Cook for 3 hours, then take off foil and cook for another hour.
Cover with favorite bbq sauce and eat!
You can finish on grill for crispiness.

I came up with this recipe because I didn't have time to cook ribs all day. This recipe can actually be done in a shorter amount of time, just test the ribs every now and again for tenderness. The acid from the onions will break down the membranes holding the meat on the bone. This is a very basic recipe, so feel free to alter it in any way you see fit.
