Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. butter or magarine, softened
2 3/4 c. sugar DIVIDED
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. (16 oz.) sour cream
2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (I use pecans sometimes)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine butter, 2 c. sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; add alternately with sour cream, beating just enough after each addition to keep batter smooth. Spoon 1/3 of batter into a greased 10 in. tube pan (I use my Bundt). Combine cinnamon, nuts, and remaining sugar; sprinkle 1/3 over batter in pan. Repeat layers two more times (I try to end with batter so when I flip it out, sugar and nuts don't fall off!). Bake 70 min. or until cake tests done. Cool for ten minutes. Remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
