¾ lb. squash (1 cup) 1 egg 1/3 cup plain flour 1/3 cup cornmeal 1 tsp. baking powder ½ tsp. salt 1 medium onion cooking oil
Cook squash until tender. Drain and mash. Combine squash and egg, mix well. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl then add to squash. Mix well. Make into patties and fry in cooking oil. Makes about 18 patties.
