3 c. sugar 1/2 t. baking powder 1 c. salad oil 1/2 t. nutmeg 3 eggs 1 t. cloves 2 c. pumpkin 1 t. cinnamon 3 c. flour 1 t. baking soda 1/2 t. salt raisins and nuts optional
Beat together sugar, salad oil and eggs with electric mixer. Stir in 2 c. pumpkin. Combine dry ingredients and add. Mix well. Grease pans well. Bake 1 large loaf pan at 350 1 hr. 15 min. or 3 small loaf pans 50-60 min. Cool 15 minutes before turning out of pan.
